Wednesday's Afternoon Class Agenda

1.Update from yesterday:
• You now have a wiki page. . . you will be using it today.

2.New Information:
• LoggerPro Light Introduction- This is the software that goes with Vernier
equipment you are using already.
• Time to experiment with this program.

3. With partners:
a.Create a lab that demonstrates the 4 basics of Ch.1,2,3.
i. Acceleration
ii. Velocity
iii. Distance
iv. Free Fall (gravity)
b. Write this lab up in a word document and include the following parts:
i. Purpose
ii. Materials
iii. Procedure
iv. Teacher Comments (how to do the lab, set up time, other
teachers' comments, etc.

c. Load this lab to the wiki-http://ms3.wikispaces.com

4. Set up the lab for others to use at your computer station, leave open your
lab’s word document.
a. Rotate through to at least 3 other stations.
b. Write (type) 2-3 comments per station on their word document.
These could include questions of clarification, how to differentiate, etc.

5. Chad’s Homework time-if needed.


Homework due THURSDAY:
a. Add a website to del.icio.us
(you need to add tabs from the del.icio.us site to your computer first).
b. Add a comment to the blog.

I really loved making the blog spot and the iGoogle page. I think this will help me in my teaching this year, and will open new paths for students.

I'm getting the wiki figured out...I think it would be a great resource for me to use for my classroom. I have some baseline info on there...just gotta fill in the holes.
